The MOC Summit brings together academics, engineers, and industry stakeholders, and offers information sessions and presentations showcasing leading-edge research and best practices in the area of modular and offsite construction and addressing the challenges of industrialized building construction.

The conference will be hosted by University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and is proudly supported by the Construction Innovation Centre.
This multi-conference event will showcase innovative research and promote engaging discussions in the area of modular and offsite construction. Accomplished academic researchers and industry personnel from three established conferences participated under a common theme.
The 2022 MOC Summit was held in conjunction with two other conferences:
International Group for Lean Construction (IGLC30), which was founded in 1993 as an international network of researchers from practice and academia in architecture, engineering, and construction.
CIC Forum, an annual event launched in 1997 to establish a venue for circulating ideas, practices, and solutions among researchers and students, our partners, and members of the construction industry in Alberta.

In order to promote a change in construction culture as modular and offsite technology evolves, the 2022 MOC Summit will provide an opportunity for delegates to expand their practical knowledge and expertise regarding the opportunities and challenges associated with implementing modular and offsite construction technology in a manufacturing environment.
